The D. Pharm Degree course is a two-year program.
Diploma in Pharmacy is a short-term programme for aspirants who want to foray into pharmaceutical business and pharmacy jobs. The course is ideal for students who seek short programmes in the pharmacy domain. Diploma in pharmacy can also be pursued in order to understand the basics of the programme and pursue advanced courses in this field.
The duration of the course shall be for 2 academic years (Non Semester) with each academic year spread over a period of not less than one hundred and eighty working days in addition to 500 hours practical training spread over a period of not less than 3 months.
Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Exam (+2) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics as optional Subjects and equivalent there to are eligible to apply.
Transfer Certificate from the Institution last studied
HSC/Pre-Degree/ AISSCE/ ISCE/ Intermediate or equivalent mark statement.
Migration Certificate for the students who have passed other than HSC Examination of Tamil Nadu.
Community Certificate (except OC candidates)
Passport Size Photographs (10 Nos) & Stamp Size Photographs (6 Nos)

Although D. Pharm is a diploma programme, there are some good job opportunities that candidates can seek after completing this course. Jobs are available at pharmacies of government and private hospitals, private pharmacy stores, pharmaceutical companies, etc. Job opportunities are better if candidates pursue B. Pharm after the D.
